The Miracles Continue

Hebrews 12:1-2  And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.

And that is exactly what Adam has done and continues to do!  Today he practically ran, in physical therapy his therapist had him walking so fast that he was at a slight jog!  It was incredible, the faster he went the less Adam relied on his therapist.  Adam was doing so much of the work himself, all his therapist kept saying was "I can't wait to see where he'll be in a month".  Adam has had a brace on his right leg for the last 4 months because that side has been weaker and unable to make the correct muscle movements to walk properly, but with the events of the day today, the therapist working with him doesn't believe he needs it anymore!  It's incredible to think that Adam has only been at NeuroRestorative for a month tomorrow and he has made an enormous amount of progress, it's amazing!

When Adam first arrived and for the first 2 weeks it took Adam an average of 2 hours to get ready for his day, and he was needing quite a bit of ques to stay in the task of getting himself ready... today he was able to get himself ready in 55 minutes!!!  He did most of the work himself and didn't need ques... my man is amazing!!!

Another amazing victory today happened with Terri in occupational therapy, she tried giving Adam this comprehensive skills test a couple weeks ago and he wasn't able to even engage in the test and therefore wasn't able to participate in the test... today he passed the test!  Again, my man is amazing, I am so proud of him!   Adam had such a packed day, he was in therapy from 7:30am to 4:15pm with only a break at lunch... what amazing endurance he has!  I can't wait to see all that God has planned for Adam... it's going to be incredible!  I continue to tell Adam daily, how blessed I am that he chose me to be his wife, what a gift he is to me.  I love my man and I am so proud of him and how far he has come!

Adam's biggest prayer need is for his cognitive abilities, please pray for his memory, and for all the cognition skills to start to click into place. Thank you for your prayers, God hears them and we are seeing the results!  What a mighty God we serve!

How exciting that the therapist saw such improvement in Adam, and is expecting so much more. YAY!! Yes, I will continue to trust for Adam, for you, and for your sweet Mackenzie. I know Father has great things in store. I love you, Marion

Amazing! Reading your blog today made me think about the Hebrews verse below.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. ~Hebrews 12:1-3

Adam is so fortunate to have you by his side! Gentle reminder- Remember that you are in recovery from your back surgery. You will run again too! (Thank you Lord!) Be sure to take the necessary time to rest while your body heals.

Love, Hugs, and Prayers!!
Debbie
